Shabby chic + Lovisa Photo and it’s at the Montage Beverly Hills equals me screaming like a school girl. This is one of those weddings that is the definition of exquisite taste and style. Inspired by the bride’s favorite colors pink and silver, Catherine Cindy Leo created a cohesive theme to the day. From the Sugar & Fluff Design House stationary to the City of Commerce Flowers, every element of this wedding was crafted magnificently. Be sure to head to the full gallery for more.

From Catherine Cindy LeoLydia and Daniel’s shabby chic wedding was inspired by the colors pink (the bride’s favorite) and silver (to add masculinity), the natural elegance of the Montage’s architecture and the feminine and delicate design of lace doilies. It began with a save-the-date that included the famous Beverly Hills logo and the couple’s initials, which was created by Sugar and Fluff Design House. This subtle feature gave guests the first look into the couple’s wedding, which was held in front of 220 of their closest friends and family. An invitation suite followed with a similar design, again created by Sugar and Fluff Design House, yet the design on the suite included hints of lace doilies to bring in the next wedding element. The main invitations were letterpressed by Aerialist Press, put together with a light gray chiffon ribbon and finished with a crystal pendant that hung ever-so-lightly.

The ceremony décor included lush, silver manzanita trees that framed the altar, a patterned rose petal aisle and darling floral pomander balls. All the florals included all the bride’s favorite flowers, such as hydrangea, English garden roses, ranunculus and dusty miller. For cocktail hour, guests delighted in the view from the terrace balcony at the hotel while enjoying cocktails, wine and appetizers chosen by the couple. As guests were invited down to the reception, a large, 10-foot-tall, faux cherry blossom tree stood in the ballroom foyer filled with pink and gray plexi “leaves” with each guest’s name hand-written in calligraphy. This concept was inspired by a Martha Stewart Weddings shoot and the continuing use of trees within the wedding. The details of the ballroom epitomized the entire event together. Soft, feather-pink, lace-wrapped cylinders were used on each table for candlelight. High and low centerpieces varied from table to table. Chair backs for the wedding party included pink and white pomander balls, while the couple’s chairs included their initials “L” and “D.” A rather large 9×12-foot backdrop framed the couple at the head table. This backdrop was custom-created for the couple with wooden embroidery brackets and white and pink lace.

Last but not least is the sweetest ending to the night: the wedding cake and dessert station. The wedding cake was created to mimic the flowing patterns in the bride’s dress and her floral head piece. On the other hand, their dessert station was inspired by a concept by Amy Atlas and featured all the couple’s favorite desserts and sweets in pink hues. On top of the cake and dessert station, the couple included a late-night surprise for their guests to cool off from dancing: custom ice cream cookie sandwiches from Coolhaus. A Coolhaus station was set up inside the hotel foyer for guests to create their own special concoction from one of many specialty gourmet choices. Guests wined, dined and enjoyed the sweet endings of the night while dancing with the couple on the seamless white dance floor.
