With so much gorgeousness passing through the doors of SMP daily, you’d think we would become immune to a pretty picture. But when the wedding (and all its DIY-goodness) is shot by We Heart Photography and the bride and groom are as head-over-heels in love as this pair, we have to stop and share! From the Bride… We both remember the exact moment and place we first saw each other as a freshman and sophomore in college, and after that moment, we couldn’t stop thinking about actually meeting each other.  Once we did, there was an immediate spark and the rest is history! Our wedding inspiration was very romantic, light colors (blush, champagne, ivory) with DIY touches and a light vintage flair. My favorite moment was definitely standing at the end of the aisle and meeting eyes with my soon-to-be husband. That moment was amazing because we hadn’t seen each other before and I think it really hit us both! My advice is to plan out your DIY crafts carefully so you don’t end up accidentally spending more money on them than the store-bought version! That happened to me on a few projects, but the finished product was worth it because it had our personal touch.
