I am just wild about this Route 66, road trip-inspired inspiration shoot by Marisa Nicole, Weddings & Events and Ronca Productions. Many of you will probably be headed home for the holidays and, depending on how long you are spending there, may catch yourselves day-dreaming about a road trip just like this. Besides the carefree, romantic, retro vibe, I’m loving the aqua and red color combo that is just perfect for a winter, desert wedding, don’t you think? So rev your engines and head on over to the full gallery to get your inspiration on!

From Marisa Nicole, Weddings & Events…I am excited to submit a stylized inspiration shoot myself and photographer, Tim Ronca, put together with a team of other amazing wedding professionals here in sunny Southern California. We were inspired to create a wedding for a couple who really does get their ‘kicks on Route 66.’ We’re hoping this will give a few old soul, road trip loving couples out there some fab ideas as to how they can creatively put together a super fun wedding that reflects the character of their relationship without breaking the bank.
Getting a group of LA wedding creatives out to the Bagdad Cafe in Newberry Springs was a road trip in itself. We really worked as a team to design all the lovely details of this shoot. I hope you will just love our road trip map guest book (where the guests sign in by sharing with the couple where they should go next). Our fabulous graphic designer put together a whole line of items for Greg & Ginger and created the perfect logo for their wedding, which we proceeded to slap on everything from invites and flags to records that serve as charger plates!
My favorite detail shot by far is the “fuel up” doughnuts and coffee stop at the gas station (still makes me giddy to see how those shots turned out). Oh, and don’t miss the milkshake floral arrangements that our floral designer put together (they look like real ones, so watch out for them!). Our models are Nate & Sarah Harrison, the cutest married couple west of the Mojave (he’s just naturally that good looking and she is actually an model/actress).
