I love engagement sessions that truly capture the personality of a couple. From Becki Walker… When consulting with these two, Breah really wanted a session that captured “them” and really displayed who they are individually, as well as a couple. Our thoughts were to combine both “loves & passions” into one location – Ponderosa Ridge Ranch in Anderson, California (outside of Redding, and a great wedding venue).
Breah loves horses, raised and trained them, and she’s a cowgirl at heart! Jack loves to hunt, fish, trap, and do anything remotely manly (as she described him!). He actually proposed on a New Year’s camping trip while fishing for trout – he tied the ring to the end of a fishing lure and had her cast it!!! We incorporated the “camping” theme into their session as well with blankets and tin cups. Using the chalkboards, we were able to capture their fun-ness, as they really do joke about cartoon characters and actually call each other by those nicknames! There was a constant gaggle of laughs during this entire session, as I’ve realized that they LOVE to have fun with each other. Listening to music and sharing that together is also something they love!
