This down on the farm fête is just Darling with a capital D. Heck, we should just capitalize the entire word, because this barnyard beauty by Shannon Rosan Photography is the perfect blend of gorgeous color palettes and personality-infused details. The sweet bride and her farmer groom called on the lovelies at Heritage & Craft to bring their vision to reality with all their adorable props and rentals, and the end result couldn’t be more fabulous. From Heritage & Craft…When I met with Chelsea she made it very clear that she wanted her and Jeff’s wedding to reflect their personality and style, so that was my goal. Jeff is a rice farmer and Chelsea is a teacher so we incorporated chalkboard and tractors into their details. The overall feel was chic and relaxed, they wanted their guests to have fun and that is what they did.
The venue was a beautiful ranch in the farming land of Chico, CA. The property was unbelievably lush and manicured. During cocktail hour guest played croquet and bocce ball. The bride’s mother made pear rosemary jam which was displayed in her childhood hope chest. We also had fun raiding Chelsea’s grandparent dairy where she grew up for rustic pieces that could be incorporated into her wedding. The floral was created with an organic feel, Chelsea did not want anything over worked and result was simple natural beauty. We brought in vintage rentals from Heritage and Craft, such as a rustic old wooden dresser used for the ceremony alter as well as vintage chalkboards, croquet, bocce ball and tons of wooden boxes.
Chelsea and Jeff danced the night away with their guest under the stars.

I like this resurgence of friendly and almost familial theme, such freedom and an amazingly relaxed environment. Love it when the bride and groom make the wedding their own!
What a gorgeous wedding! I love the personalized feel. Where are the bridesmaid dresses from and what color are they? That's the exact color i'm looking for too!
Absolutely gorgeous! Shannon Rossan and Heritage and Craft rocked it.
Beautiful wedding! Where are the bridesmaids dresses from?
Thanks for all the lovely comments! The bridesmaid dresses are from J.Crew and the color is "Spiced Wine". I had the ladies choose the style they liked the best from the different silk chiffon designs.
This is a gorgeous wedding. I love the trend of people usuing succulent plants as part of their boquets etc...
Looks like no details were overlooked! what a beautiful day
thank you for the feature! This couple was a dream to work with and their style was delightful!
Colors are awesome and they simply stand out in the kind of simple theme. Very effective and simple. I'm thinking on working on something like this near Orlando, Florida
So happy to see a local wedding represented on your website, Shannon Rosan Photography is so talented and she makes us Chico Natives Proud! Great Wedding Photos and the colors are absolutely Beautiful!
this is gorgeous and I would love to know what size tablecloths were used for the reception table! I love how they hang and assume they are actually square? Being that I am planning my own wedding I am looking for something a little different and something like that definitely fits the bill! Love the whole look!
