One of the things we do right here in California is rustic romance. Take this ranch wedding from James Moes Photography set in Sonoma Valley. Lush and seasonal flowers, eclectic vintage decor and scrumptious, fresh food that you can only get on the best coast. The soft glow of the California sun creates a dreamy atmosphere that you just can’t find anywhere else. There is a special photo booth treat, as well as even more good, old-fashioned west coast romance, in the full gallery.

From James Moes…Meghan + Alex’s wedding was a classy outdoor affair at the Atwood Ranch: ceremony under a large oak, gorgeous flowers by Pat Friday, delicious looking and tasting catering, plenty of sun, personalized-yet-understated bridesmaids dresses, photobooth, etc.
Meghan + Alex are poetic folk, avid readers, and had the delightful vows: “Today we start a whole new chapter of our life, which seems only fitting because so much of what we have shared together involves words written on a page. But what I want you to know is that you can’t have it all, but what you can have is this promise to be ever-faithful, that when I can I will bite every sorrow until to you feel whole, I promise to help you experience love and the way in which it can have such sweet surrender, to be your best friend and the question mark at the end of your laughter, and most
importantly, to be the person you want to fly in lightweight contraptions with.”
