I definitely have tomboy tendencies but show me anything with a Parisian flair and I turn into a big squealing girly girl. This Napa Valley wedding by Michelle Walker Photography definitely got my heart racing with blue and white Parisian street signs, French-inspired postcards and an all around feeling of whimsy and enchantment. And how cute are those custom cake toppers made to look like the bride and groom down to her bouquet? The ooh la las continue in the full wedding gallery!

From Michelle Walker Photography… In June 2010, Sharon Martin and Joel Savitzky wed at Auberge de Soleil in beautiful Rutherford, California. Sharon and Joel, New York foodies inspired by all things French naturally picked Napa for their destination wedding. At the time of the wedding Sharon was the Manager of Creative Services in the Marketing Department for Tiffany & Company in New York! Specializing in the design and installation of window displays, she brought her attention to detail and elegance to her wedding.
Notable design elements included the table numbers, which were enameled vintage French street number signs. The bride visited Paris every summer with her mother and has fond memories of the blue and white street signs. The unusual larger numbers (Table 24, Table 181) gave a sense of whimsy and a hint of disorder to keep the guests entertained. The escort “tree” was filled with a card for each guest inspired by French postcards. The color of the vintage postage stamp cleverly indicated which entrée the guest was having, without the guests even realizing it. A custom cake-topper was ordered in Sharon and Joel’s likeness, down to the floral bouquet, groom’s tie and pretty red hair on the bride.
Arrangements were set in glass bottles that belonged to the bride’s grandmothers, collected over a fifty-year span. They were shipped to the florist, and honored her grandparents who couldn’t attend the wedding. The groom, an advertising and marketing art director, designed all of the stationery for the wedding, including their wedding invitation.
Sharon and Joel stayed at the private estate of Newton Winery, featuring stunning gardens and architecture, which meant stunning photos!

Gorgeous... I love these Nappa Valley weddings - such a beautiful setting! Love the cupcakes and toppers. Well done x :)
I love the wishing tree, cupcakes and the flowers!!
I absolutely love the table number card idea with the French-inspired signs. I've sent a note to the Etsy shop listed to see if they still have some in stock for my wedding! Love! Gorgeous wedding.
Cute french inspired designs. And the trees. Love the trees
If the bride is looking at these comments- I'd love to purchase 15 of your table number signs (doesn't matter what numbers.) Would you consider selling them? If so, please send me an e-mail to r.heckner@gmail.com. Thanks in advance for your consideration and best wishes on your marriage!
Dear Emilia Jane, Abby and the entire SMP team,
Thank you so much for featuring Sharon and Joel's wedding today! It was an absolute pleasure to work with these two last year, and their creativity and style made for an amazing event. And, they are just about the sweetest two people I've ever met! The beautiful site and fabulous team of vendors really made it a perfect day.
@Rachel, I'm going to let Sharon know that you're interested in purchasing the table number signs. They were such a special, fun touch and very unique!
I wanted to add a note that I coordinated this event on behalf of A Dream Wedding (www.a-dreamwedding.com), a wonderful local wedding planning and coordination company.
I'd be happy to help if anyone else has questions about the wedding. Take care!

I am in love with that dress! It was my second choice and now it is making me sad. It's sooo pretty.
I attended this lovely wedding which also featured fine food and wines chosen by Joel and Sharon. What a pleasure it is to revisit that day with all its delights!
What a wonderful wedding!! I'm so excited for Joel and Sharon! It was such fun working on their custom wedding topper and am so thrilled to see these amazing photos. Absolutely gorgeous!!
