Next in the lineup of wedding goodies is the sweetest of sweet backyard affairs photographed by Nicole Hill Gerulat. The bride and groom are the epitome of perfect and managed to create a day that truly reflected their love. And the icing on the proverbial cake? They served none other than authentic Mexican tacos at their garden reception. For a California girl and a lover of all things Mexican food (who now lives in Boston with no good tacos in sight), this happens to be my absolute dream wedding feast. Kudos to the cute couple. Check out more from this fabulous day in the gallery.

From the Bride…
From the cakes down to the authentic Mexican Tacos, our wedding represented everything we love. Instead of having a stuffy reception we wanted to have an outdoor garden party with our closest friends and family and keep the feeling light-hearted and simple. My mom’s gorgeous yard was the perfect venue. I absolutely love how everything turned out. Even the napkins made me happy! The bright colors and fresh flowers gave a very fresh and organic feel that we loved. We tried to carry the garden theme throughout the reception with vintage watering cans, various wildflower arrangements, flower seed packet favors, pictures hung on garden trellises, etc. We even supplied Jones soda to help personalize the event and add a fun flare. All in all it was an amazing day and we cannot believe it has already been a year!

Wow, such a fresh and sweet couple. I love the bride's earrings. The red moped was a great touch.
Beautiful! I love the simplicity of the dress. It's lovely. I also really like the blue tissue paper pom poms.
I love the simplicity of the dress, and the short sleeves just lovely! Don't get me started on those shoes... LOVE!
I am in love with this wedding! Gorgeous dress, too. Random question - Are the groomsmen wearing tuxes? I am trying to avoid making my fiance's groomsmen buy suits, so I think we are going for rental tuxes. I was trying to figure out whether tuxes would look weird without the vests, and it looks like that's what you did. If so, they look great! Assuming I'm right, where did you rent the tuxes?
I have seen the large drink urns holding lemonade/other drinks in several SMP weddings and would love to know - where do you get these? What are they called? I want them for my wedding! Any help appreciated x
can anyone tell me where i can get the lovely bride's gold earrings?! i love them! they are so cute and just the perfect size. thanks in advance :D
This dress is absolutely sweet and classic, I LOVE it! What a darling bride and groom too!
The lighting seems so simple and yet perfect! Who did your lighting?
Hey there! Thanks for all the sweet comments!! Lets see if I can answer some of your questions:
The earrings were from Nordstrom.... I loved them!
The drink vases we actually found at Costco... it was great! I think they get some version of them every Spring but I could be wrong.
The groomsmen were just wearing black suits. They all had their own to begin with so we only ended up having to get the ties (which were from Macys) and a few white shirts. The groom and both dad's wore tuxes... and we rented them from a local place called Selix Formal. ( I keep hearing horror stories about Men's Wearhouse so I would steer clear from there if you can)
The lighting was done by the Groom's dad. He did an awesome and super professional job!
Anyways... thanks again so much!! All the nice comments made my day!
I am positively in love with those bridesmaids dresses. My wedding is in April and I am so worried that I won't be able to find something when spring styles come out. I don't suppose there is any way your bridesmaids (I need 4) would want to sell them would they? We look to have about the same size girls.....
Just a thought.
