Barrie and Ariel were married on May 30, 2010 at Chileno Valley Ranch -a beautiful spot in the rolling hills, about 45 minutes north of San Francisco. The wedding was beautiful, organic, natural, laid back. There was so much of themselves in the details -the fava beans from the amazing crostini appetizer was from their own backyard garden in Oakland. Ariel sang a song to Barrie during the reception, Barrie’s best friend made the skirt she wore and Barrie made her top and veil. Ariel’s sister did the flowers. Barrie also re-made her favorite shoes to match the ensemble by spray painting them gold! The ranch is a working farm, and only takes a very select number of weddings a year. The weather was perfection and there was an air of magic about the whole night.
