We have gone from eco-chic in Austin to a carnival themed soiree and now my friends, we have a glamorous Beverly Hills fete from rockstar photographer, Meg Perotti. All in a day’s work. This wedding is so very romantic and girly and chic and fabulous and completely embodies Old Hollywood charm. We double dog dig it and a huge standing ovation for the color combination. Lauren and Josh had an elegant old Hollywood wedding at the gorgeous Greystone Mansion nestled in the hills above Sunset Blvd. The bride slipped into her Vera Wang gown at her suite at the London Hotel and dashed off to meet her groom with her bridesmaids- all in blush and gold. Her florals were all delicate blushes with touches of golds and cream. Lauren is a true Style Me Pretty bride- she took a lot of inspiration from the years posts and incorporate cute DIY ideas throughout her day. Her mom and aunt spent months scouring for vintage postcards that were displayed on a table and guests were encourage to write notes to Lauren and Josh and tuck them away in an old suitcase for memories sake. It was really an elegant day with an impeccably styled bride and groom!

I just have to comment that I love this wedding and I feel like that bride and I could be the same person, I have such similar inspirations... from the perfectly full and lush flowers, to the strapless gown with statement jewelry, to the turquoise blue accents, to the bottle of St. Germaine and the vintage post cards - seriously every time I turned the page I was like, ohhh I have been planning that too... it is just fun to see how someone else out there has the same inspirations that you do but will always come out with something slightly different and unique. There are two additional vendors I’d like to mention- my thanks to Ixora Floral Studio, for making the bouquets so my amazing Aunt could focus her energies on the rest of the flower arrangements, and re-wrap, who made the canvas tote bag favors. Re-wrap is a non-profit organization that works with co-ops in southern India, providing training, employment, and independence to disadvantaged communities.

I loved working with Lauren through-out the planning process - she is a class act. The photos capture the wonderful details of Lauren and Josh's wedding day. All the professionals that worked on this wedding which includes Lauren's talented Aunt, who did all of the floral arrangements with the exception of the bouquets (Ixora Floral Studio) were so amazing!
