This is pretty much one of the most beautiful weddings we’ve ever featured on SMP. Photographed and filmed by MIMMO & NAZ, this little gem is a lesson in romance. The old pier, the simple and yet utterly gorgeous color palette, the sweet and yet approachable details. And the glowing bride and groom. I pored over these photographs a million times and seemed to see something different each and every time I did. Click here to see lots more!

Palm Springs California – Colony Palms Hotel. Tina and Brandon live in L.A. and found us right on SMP. She loved both the Super 8mm films and Photography and had to have us document her wedding in Palm Springs. We flew down from Toronto to LA and drive almost 4 hours to Palm Springs to document a 2 day ceremony held at the Colony Palms Hotel, in Palm Springs. The first day was the white wedding followed by an outdoor reception later that evening. The second day was a traditional Korean ceremony as well held at the Colony Palms. Later that same evening we decided to head out to the Joshua Tree National Park and photograph them. We had an amazing time with both of them.
And if you’ve fallen in love with the sweet simplicity of this gorgeous wedding, just wait until you see this…
Super 8 Film | Tina & Brandon – Palm Springs, California | by mimmo+naz from mimmo+naz on Vimeo.
I know. It’s beyond beautiful. Mimmo + Naz take such a beautiful perspective with every wedding that they are a part of…whether it’s film or cinema. Both speak volumes to just how talented this duo is. Here is one more super 8 clip from Tina and Brandon’s wedding. And if you aren’t already weeping, grab the kleenex because you will be after this one…
Super 8 Film | Tina & Brandon – Never Too Late For A Dance With Dad | by mimmo+naz from mimmo+naz on Vimeo.
From Mimmo + Naz…”Tina never got to have her dance with her dad on her wedding night. The night was a party and a most memorable time but the next morning when everyone left Palm Springs Tina shared with us her disappointment and how she just wished to have had that night back again. With less than 24hrs before our flight we suggested calling her dad back in Los Angeles to meet us at Santa Monica Pier early the next morning. Before any busker or tourist or crowd Dad and daughter got to have their dance!”

Where did you find those dog silhouette table numbers?
**Happy sighs** I'm swooning over the videos from this wedding! I have to admit there was a tear or two watching the ceremony. The couple is so beautiful, happy, and in love *sigh again* Thanks for posting this one SMP.
I am a month away from my wedding and in full anxiety mode...the father-daughter dance video just got me and my crazy tears! Now I can breathe, step back from all the crazy details and remember what I'm so excited about! Can't wait.
Naz...what can I say Naz...this latest movie is stunning. Sort of makes me want to shoot movies myself!
Okay..so for all of you reading these comments..Naz and I go back a few years, we've shot at a few weddings together and he is by FAR the best Super8 cinematographer in Toronto..yes..there are others, but Naz has a style of shooting and editing that is unmatched.
I got to say Naz, as a father of a little girl, that dance on the pier movie is pretty moving..you've given that family one heck of a heirloom.
Congrats!

Agree, the dance on the pier movie is incredible. Beautiful details and such emotion in this wedding. Hope to feature a similar one soon.
LOVE!! They are shooting my wedding (super 8) in a little over two weeks in Toronto and this is exactly why I picked them...their videos definietly make me emotional and I'm so not a cry over weddings type of girl. Can't wait to see what they come up, I'm certain it will be nothing short of amazing like everything else I've seen from them! See you soon.

All I can say is, I'm happy to have such a talented cousin and hope that he will film my wedding some day.
Who made the programs? They are beautiful!
Cute, but i preferred Theresa's.

Just gorgeous! They really captured such a romantic feel to this wedding. Makes me want to hop on a plane to California and get married all over again! Simply stunning!
It really is never too late to dance with dad. What a beautiful story/video. made my day, thank you.
That video of Tina dancing with her Dad is just beautiful. I know it will mean even more to them both as the years pass.
Just gorgeous!!! Just want to get married all over again. I was so emotionally involved and not even my own wedding. Great job..
Beautiful and very moving video! The wedding is gorgeous with a lovely green and white theme.
Wow... the first picture was so touching :) ...then scrolling down and reading the back story to it. It tugged at my heartstrings *smile* The pictures are spectacular!
Huge fan of 8mm and Mimmo+Naz's work in general. Our 8mm video from our wedding makes is a keepsake that is both epic and romantic. Made us feel like Kennedys! :)
Thanks so much, Mimmo + Naz!!! I cannot say how much I loved working with both of them. They really made our wedding so special. They were kind, thoughtful, considerate and incredibly professional. I still remember when my aunt accidentally poked my head putting in a hair pin, Mimmo immediately asked if I was okay and if he should stop taking pictures. Brandon and I got to know them so well over the course of that weekend, and we feel like they're our friends.
Mimmo + Naz were the best decision we made, in terms of vendors, and the first people we picked! I saw them on a wedding blog and just loved their work. Their video was the only one that made me cry, and I just knew they would be fabulous. They absolutely worked with us to fly out and capture our wedding.
When Naz offered to film my father and I dancing our first dance, at pretty much dawn so that they wouldn't miss their flight, it was honestly one of the the most moving things anyone has ever done for me. When we danced, I have never seen my father so happy. It's one of my most treasured memories and I feel so lucky that they did that for us.
To answer the questions:
My husband made the table numbers! We found a picture of a running whippet, downloaded it and them cut them out. I made the wire holders out of, I think, 9mm gauge wire, and wrote the numbers with white calligraphy ink.
My AMAZING wedding planner made the programs! Even Fable with Happily Ever Always (310.422.4105 even@happilyeveralways.com). He was heaven, and created and coordinated the name cards, menu cards and programs for a very reasonable cost. Happily Ever Always also did all the flowers.
i absolutely adore this wedding!
so simple. so lovely.
and the videos! so incredible!
I SOOOOOO second this story and all the feelings the bride described! Mimmo + Naz are incredible at what they do and even more amazing individuals! We had them at our wedding for the week and they too became friends...they are very easy to talk to...and take time to know the couple and capture their day in the most perfect way!! Anyone who has the opportunity to work with them is extremely lucky! Congrats!!
Another Beautiful display of the great work these guys do!! If you haven't checked out there site make sure you take a moment to see it. Their stuff is amazing!!
Where did you have those tote bags made? They are soo cute!
Love the antique green hydrangeas and seeded eucalyptus greens. Overall pretty use of green flowers! Love it!
I love the photo of the bride and groom dancing in front of the ferris wheel.
