Palm Springs Wedding by Celebrations of Joy

We’re kicking off the morning with one of SMP Fashion Week’s most gorgeous brides. When I think of weddings, my mind automatically wanders off into a fluffy cloud of frilly dress dreams. This bride was lucky enough to live my dream in a dress that is so out of this world. In fact, she just might be the luckiest bride EVER because she had not one, but two gorgeous dresses AND two pairs of Louboutins to outfit her for her big day. With gorgeous event design by Celebrations of Joy and photography by Joan Allen, this intimate Palm Springs wedding has me feeling a little spurt of vicarious living coming on. Be sure to check out the gallery for more images from the day.

Jen & Ken celebrated their wedding in true designer fashion, choosing to be married with an intimate group of friends and family at the Frank Sinatra Twin Palms Estate in Palm Springs, CA. The bride, an executive in the home furnishings industry, was stunning in her custom Akris wedding gown and Christian Louboutin shoes for the wedding ceremony and then changed for the first dance into an elegant red gown by Alexander McQueen and a second pair of red Christian Louboutin shoes. The groom wore a custom suit by Brioni. All of their jewelry was custom designed by the couple.

An intimate grouping of square tables were draped in a classic upholstered look using the Ottoman Chocolate linens from Wildflower Linen, and the Chameleon Chairs were covered with chocolate suede seat cushions and a linette parchment backing. The square and contemporary details were continued with centerpieces of white ceramic boxes filled with succulents and orange floral clusters.
