The secret’s out. I am a total and complete reality TV junkie. It’s actually quite sad. The Housewives (every city, though the OC is my current fav), Idol, Project Runway…you name it, I’m probably watching it. And this season of The Bachelor, despite swearing to myself I wasn’t going to get involved, was amazing. So when I heard that one of our all time favorite photogs was the official photographer for Jason and Molly’s wedding, I decided to make it an All About Aaron Day, celebrating two things that I love the best…great photography and reality tv.
Here is one last bit of Aaron Delesie goodness before we all tune in for the big wedding tonight! To see the full wedding, click here.

From the wonderful coordinator, Brooke Keegan…
Adena and Kevin wanted two things for their wedding: 1. a newer venue that many people haven’t heard of or experienced, and 2. a shabby chic, all white wedding. When they found the perfect location, The Grand Del Mar, it didn’t really fit with the Shabby Chic look. It has a very Mediterranean feel so we had to get creative. What we did was create several spaces within the property that we could play off of the existing décor and also bring in a bit of the Shabby Chic look. The ceremony took place in La Cappella, a beautiful chapel on property. We enhanced the look with a lot of candlelight and white florals. Cocktails were out on the terrace over looking the dinner reception and teatro. Here we were able to bring in a more Shabby Chic look. The dinner was out on the lawn and we incorporated white florals, lanterns, adirondack chairs, oversized pillows and a lot of candlelight. There was a Jazz band under the teatro for guests to enjoy during dinner, and that is where Adena and Kevin shared their first dance. It was so beautiful. Following dinner, everyone moved up to the Manchester Salon for the after party and dancing. We transformed the room into a chic lounge in gold’s and burgundy’s with a dessert and candy bar for the guests to enjoy. DJ Peter had the guests dancing all night. We ended up extending the party 90 minutes because no one wanted to leave such a fabulous event!

The 3 weddings posted today are the reason I started stalking SMP! I LOVE the lovely sweet colors and dreamy decor they all share. Thank you! My wedding is this weekend and I needed some SMP Swooning to get me in the mood :)
I agree! Today has been so beautiful. These bridesmaid dresses with the little back layer are too cute.
HOORAY!! I totally heart Aaron day! :O) I am 150% smitten with this wedding! It's to stylish and girly in the most chic, uncomplicated way. Bravo, can't wait to see more!
I've always had the opinion that really white weddings would look boring, but these past few have really shown me just how intriguing and romantic they can be. And I really adore her dress. Do you by chance happen to know what model it is and who it's by?
Oh, that ring! How beautiful! And I don't usually like white flower arrangements, but these table bouquets are just to die for. Beautiful photographs of a beautiful wedding.

Hey Everyone! Thanks for the awesome feedback - we had so much fun with this wedding... I thought I would share with you a little note from the bride Adena....
So many amazing events came together to create our wedding day!! Kevin and I had been together since college and so when the time finally came to plan a wedding we had thought about
it a lot ( well I had at least : ) Just like so many other brides I scoured the web, checking SMP every day to find the best most beautiful ideas. The venue was most important to us, so after a 5am road trip to Santa Barbara and many failed attempts at finding our "garden villa" on somewhat of a budget, we were tipped off by a photographer ( who we didn't end up hiring) about a new venue... The Grand Del Mar. As soon as I saw the outdoor lawn I knew that this would be the perfect place!! Although we both had envisioned getting married outside, when we saw the wedding chapel with its hand carved pews from Italy...we knew we had found something special. After the venue was secured I knew I wanted Aaron to shoot the wedding...hands down! I actually called him before I had a date or a venue and he laughingly said he of course needed a date first. It was then Aaron who referred us to Brooke our amazing coordinator!! Brooke and her team set up all of our decor and we had a lot!!
To save money and add a little more of a DIY touch we brought in a lot of outside items...we didn't want it to feel like we were at a hotel and I desperately wanted MORE WHITE...so the lanterns were brought in by us and hand painted by mom and my bridesmaid Ruby, all our dinner menus, table and placecards were designed and printed by Kevin and I. We searched high and low for white shabby chic throw pillows for the lawn chairs and reception areas to make it more cozy. We had wedding photos of family framed on the fireplace mantels....vintage diamond brooches were on all the bridesmaids bouquets ( all 10 ) hand picked by my Mom and I at various antique stores in San Diego. Our ring bearers box, was actually an old gold jewelry box I found at an antique store along with the box we put our wedding programs in ( both of which we keep on our mantel as keepsakes) Kevin's mom hand picked the cross for the chapel and we both recited our own vows. We had an amazing jazz band hand picked by my Dad playing during dinner which was a salute to my families history of music ( my grandfather, father and brother are all musicians). It was such an amazing day...better than we could have ever hoped or dreamed!! Our families were such an amazing part of each detail and our friends made the actual day so fun!! But I have to say the best DIY detail was that I had found my best friend and we get to spend our lives together!!!
Where did you purchase the white lanterns? Great wedding
Everything is just GORGEOUS. Love it all!
WOW, WOW, WOW. Hands down one of the most beautiful weddings I have seen on here! Adena looks incredible, and that ring! Incredible! The attention to detail is FLAWLESS!
And to live only a few miles from the Grand Del Mar is such a treat as well.
Thanks for all the amazing comments!!
I actually found the lanterns at a few different places, some at antique stores, but most of them I purchased at HomeGoods and Marshalls. I started collecting them one by one....every time the store would get more in I would buy them. By the end my whole bedroom was full of lanterns!! They were all different colors...so we spray painted and hand painted them white and rustic gold.
The ring was designed by my husband Kevin and his childhood friend Dino Takos ( who is a jeweler) from Jewelry by Angelo here in Orange County. I gave them a general idea ( romantic and vintage) and they did the rest!! It came out beautiful with so much detail ( the sides have more milgrain and a single diamond on each side).
Your so crafty! All those personal touches show! You did an amazing job!
This wedding is INCREDIBLE! Truly breathtaking and the bride and groom are just beaming. It is flawless down to the last detail! They took full advantage of the beautiful setting and it's just STUNNING! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!
Holy moly, this is totally my dream wedding. I love her dress. So beautiful I can barely stand it. I'm starting to think I need to find out of Aaron Delesie travels because these photos are completely dreamy.
Hi Michele, Yes.... Aaron and I travel all the time. In fact, we love to travel! This year we will be all over the US and even in Italy, Asia, Mexico, etc. It is so fun!
Kevin and Adena's wedding was the most beautiful, romantic and classy wedding I have ever been to ... and I have been to A LOT of weddings over the years!! The photographer did a great job capturing such a perfect wedding day!
that ring is on FIRE!!
This had to be one of the most stunning weddings I have ever seen.. and I have seen a lot of them! I am just amazed. This is the kind of wedding I think all of us girls dream about!
Thanks for sharing! Feel free to visit me :)
The images are simply stunning! It makes me want to get married all over again. I can't stop looking!!
Thanks SMP for appreciating Adena and Kevin's lovely, lovely wedding ! As the mother of the bride, I can attest that the day felt as good as it looked! It truly was a stress free and joyful , lighthearted day for all! That due in part to the great team of people that were involved such as the very gifted Aaron Delesie , photographer and the very thorough Brooke Keegan, wedding planner. As a mom, it meant a whole lot to see my daughter and her husband truly relaxing and having fun at their wedding which is alot to ask for Adena , who always has her eye on perfection! The whole family was able to enjoy the day, as it should be!

I am so happy that SMP is featuring the wedding of Adena and Kevin who are two of my favorite people! This beautiful day celebrating their love was absolutely flawless due to all the attention to detail from the bride and her amazing support system (as can be seen in all the lovely images). Congratulations again to the amazing couple... these pictures really capture and bring back all the beautiful memories from your special day! Love you both! xoxo

Congrats to both of you. Ruby loves this site. The pics look great and your wedding was wonderful. I hope we can have a day to remember like that.
Blessed to be honored the MOH at the Murrey wedding, it was truely a seemless day (thank you Brooke Keegan). This wedding was as gorgeous in person as is portrayed in the photos. Thank you to Aaron Delesie who captured the essence of the day and Adena's vision perfectly. All of the hard work, creativity and effortless style are inspiring. Adena definately mastered the tricks of putting on a fab wedding.
What is the groom's amazing band made out of? If you don't mind sharing, where did you get it from?!?!
HI!!!! I am getting married at the Grand Del Mar, and was wondering where you got the candelabras for the back of the chapel, near the entrance of the bride. I LOVE THEM! I'm wondering if you rented them or bought them, or if your florist got them for you. Thanks so much! Write back when you can.
Hi Michelle,
Our florist provided them. We were pretty specific on what we wanted and she said she knew the perfect fit!!
Her name is Karla Flores ( Elegant By Design in Newport Beach) She was amazing!!! Check out her website and/or give her a call, Im sure you could rent them from her.....
