We have a jam packed day of gorgeousness on SMP today, starting with this incredible wedding that Ray Soemarsono of APERTURA. The bride behind today’s affair was a huge fan of SMP during her planning and found inspiration in many of the weddings that we’ve featured. Which you know I love. And the best part…the wedding turned out flawless. Filled to the brim with a chic, totally modern style and details that would make any bride swoon.

From the insanely beautiful (seriously jealous of just how gorgeous) bride….
We tried to make it personal by including a lot of details throughout the wedding. It started with custom made gift bags that were delivered to everyone’s room. Yellow and Ivory canvas filled with everything from sunscreen to our favorite snacks and magazines. The bags included a custom printed card with a personal thank you message. Because we only had 11 other people we were able to incorporate every one of them into the ceremony by sharing a story that was special to us about each of them.

We also incorporated a wine toast with everyone in honor of the fact that we were introduced at a wine bar. Everyone knows how important our our dogs are to us so they were in the wedding as our ring bearers. The tree planting ceremony was symbolic as we brought soil from the two places we share most of our time in Southern California. The tree is now planted in Joshua Tree, California.

We will have a complete vendor list coming up next including details on all of the fashion, flowers and gorgeous touches!

That mom-of-the-bride dress is adorable! My momma would love it! Anyone know where it's from?? She's tired of all the "matronly jackets" typical of mom-of-the-bride outfits...
Hi Chrissy,
My mother will be so happy you think so! The dress is Nanette Lepore 'Larkspur' Sheath Dress :)

So happy for you! Everything looks beautiful.

Hi Lizet,
I had a look at your beautiful dress on the J Crew website! Love it! I was just wondering whether you got the flower you have on your hip from J Crew or elsewhere? Thanks so much. Congratulations on a stunning day!
I was looking through your posts and stopped at this one, only to find out that it's a part 2 of the same post that I was just looking at and loved ! This wedding is stunning ! And I can't stop looking at it !
Thanks Laura! The flower was created by Myra. You can find her beautiful work here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/myrakim
