Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, it’s fairly safe to say that I live and breathe design. While I edit for Style Me Pretty Living by day, I moonlight as a freelance interior designer by night, and somewhere in between I document it all on my design & lifestyle blog, Lark & Linen.

When I’m not tethered to my computer (there's a solid chance I have a bit of a love affair with my mac), you’re likely to find me drinking bubbly with girlfriends (usually for no reason at all), gathering inspiration at the local antique market, or whipping up one of our mouth-watering recipes in the kitchen.

In short? There isn't a moment that goes by that I don't thank my lucky stars that I get to do what I love every moment of every day.

A space in which you walk into, and all of the days woes and qualms simply melt away. It's simple, it's elegant, it's like a breath of fresh air. Give me crisp white sheets, a lightly scented candle, and someone sweet to snuggle up next to and I am seriously good to go. We thought we'd pretend like Monday wasn't really here with this round up of some of our very favourite, picture perfect, simply serene bedrooms.
