Let’s talk about romantic weddings for a moment, shall we?  Romantic weddings that are awash in pink ombre hues and happen to have some of the most beautiful details planned by White Events that you will ever see.  Weddings that feature lush blooms from Zinnia Floral Design and gorgeous imagery from Jemma Keech.  See it all right here in the full gallery.

From White Events… Beige’s & Harley’s stunning South West wedding was held in Yallingup WA, with their ceremony at Laurance Wines and then on to Chandeliers on Abbey for their reception.

The theme for their wedding was based around an ombre of pink tones set on a white base and accented by waterford crystal, clear glass charger plates and clear Tiffany chairs. The theme followed through into the flowers and the stationery, which both played an instrumental part in the day and allowed the pops of pink to be seen throughout the day, giving it a young, fresh vibe that was still classy and elegant.

The ceremony was set upon a large beautiful grass space beside the lake at Laurance Wines, where guests and the bridal party walked through the amazing rose garden to the ceremony. Where guests were greeted by white French provincial chairs and a wooden arbor that had been adorned in stunning blooms and backdropped by a French provincial table filled with various blooms in vases.

Beige was a stunner in her custom made couture gown from Galleria Couture, made up of a “3D” swarovski crystal bodice and a full skirt of hundreds of individual pieces of tulle, giving the skirt and edgy take on the modern princess style of dress. Beige’s Mum and bridesmaids were all equally as stunning in their Galleria Couture creations.

Following the ceremony, the bridal party enjoyed photos at Laurance and Canal Rocks while the guests went by bus to Chandeliers on Abbey to enjoy the cocktail hour, which was the “playful” part of the night.

Whilst the setting was romantic, the hand drawn stationery added a quirky touch, even down to the mini-milk bottles that the guests helped themselves to a range of pre-dinner cocktail from, which had hand drawn labels with illustrations of the bride & groom, dressed in their exact wedding attire, with the words “eat, drink & be married”.

During the cocktail hour guests were entertained by the lifesize scrabble board and the “Mr & Mrs” bean toss games. All the while, enjoying a range of specially named cocktails, freshly shucked oysters and listening to the smooth sounds of the white baby grand piano being played. Set in the bush, surrounded by beautiful big trees, glass bottles filled with individual blooms hung above head to give a completely different feel to the cocktail hour, leaving the big reveal of the reception to have the maximum “wow factor”.

Then the time came to invite guests into the marquee, the ribbon blocking the entrance to the marquee was removed and guests were welcomed in. The excitement of the night and the anticipation of seeing the marquee was evident on all of their faces and they were not disappointed.

When seated at the table, guests sat down to glass charger plates, under which was a perfectly measured round menu, hand written to match the overall stationery theme and topped with a scroll of the guests names to indicate their place setting. Guests were also given words of wisdom cards to complete for the Bride & Groom and were asked to “leaf their print” on their wedding tree. As a gift guests were given 5 sugared almonds, with the traditional meaning of the gift hand written on a collar that wrapped around the box that encased them – it was a modern take on sugared almonds!

DJ Mandy B then rocked the night away and the crowd really knew how to party. Following a Father/Daughter dance, Beige & Harley took to the dancefloor for their bridal waltz and then the guests danced all night.

This really was the ultimate modern, fairytale wedding.
