Waverley Estate, South Australia Wedding from Tamika Lee Photography

Vintage prettiness and a couple so adorable I can barely stand it – this wedding is enough to make my heart pitter patter so loud you’ll hear it in Australia. Honestly, every gorgeous images from Tamika Lee Photography makes me swoon just a little bit more, and then when I read the Groom serenaded his sweet Bride down the aisle on his guitar – that’s when I’m officially a goner. See all the sweetness here.

From Tamika Lee PhotographyDamaris and Greg met in Switzerland and have the most beautiful exciting love for each other. Their wedding was filled with vintage prettiness and the beautiful sprits of family and friends from Adelaide, South Australia and Switzerland made for a beautiful and loving community of people to celebrate a special day. Damaris and Greg were just a beautiful laid back creative couple, Greg went surfing before the wedding and played guitar for Damaris as she walked down the aisle. Greg just brought out the biggest and happiest smile on Damaris. Together they are perfect. Their wedding and ceremony was at the one location which just set the mood for the whole day and was perfect.

From Nikki Langmead Photography… This shoot we really just wanted to focus on the love of the couple and also the beautiful country side that is in Adelaide, Australia. This couple is so funny and cute and the love they have just oozes out of them…the shoot is all about emotion and the beautifulness of the personalities, we wanted to strip away all the details and ‘things’ and make it about what it should be ‘LOVE’. They are getting married in November this year.

From Joshua Kane Photography… We LOVED shooting Claire and Peter’s Adelaide Hills Wedding this summer! First off, they were the most charming and photogenic couple ever. Their wedding seemed so casual and free flowing yet there were touches of elegance and sophistication in every photo we took. The Bride (Claire), has an amazing eye for style, and she knew exactly what she wanted the overall aesthetic of the day to be like. This made our job easy as it meant that the details and decor weren’t just carelessly thrown together… but rather, they were an extension of the couples collaborative style and personality (and thats what we love to see as photographers).

Mt Lofty House is an AMAZING venue… but it’s also extremely popular for weddings and is a heavily photographed location. So we wanted to give Claire and Peter some unique photos that might seem unexpected at this venue. This approach led to the more informal candid shots of the bridal party picnic. We simply gathered the group, pulled out the champagne and snacks and let them indulge carelessly as we snapped away.

A personal highlight, the bride portraits we shot later offered a great chance to add some vintage tones to the high fashion style poses that came second nature to this stunning bride. I love the mix of styles.

From the Bride… Our wedding design began with a blank canvas. Through many hours of searching various wedding blogs, I slowly painted what I pictured our dream day would look like. We created a chic, classic, crisp white style wedding, with touches of green and soft pink. We wanted to keep some of the traditional aspects of a wedding whilst incorporating personal touches reflecting us as a couple.

We hired event styling company, Emkho, a creative collection, to help plan the day and create the perfect atmosphere in both the ceremony and reception. Emkho first styled our engagement party so beautifully, that we just had to have them help create our wedding too. They used a black and white ribbon as a running theme, beginning on the invites, to my bouquet, grooms buttonhole, ceremony pews, garden signage, bonbonniere and our wedding cake.  With the inspiration of Mount Lofty gardens, the reception was full of gorgeous soft white flowers and bold green foliage.

We not only wanted the wedding to be the best day of our lives, but we wanted our guests and bridal party to feel the same and remember it as fun, playful, relaxed and full of love. Between the ceremony and reception the Bridal Party had a picnic in the garden with our favourite cheeses and champagne. During the canapé hour, guests were able enjoy the spectacular view of the Adelaide Hills, with a glass of wine, and participate in garden games. Cute black and white hessian bags were used as both the escort card and bonbonniere. Inside was the table number and instructions to fill their bag with homemade cookies baked by Peter and I. Our wedding was truly the most perfect day we could have ever imagined.
