Floral Inspired Bridal Luncheon

I’m what you would call a bridal shower junkie; invite me and I’ll be there with bells on, more than ready to toast you and yours.  So give me a floral-inspired bridal shower shoot, complete with gold-dusted macarons, and I’m all sorts of happy.  Especially when its a perfectly crafted day of pretty from the likes of Victoria CameronAlways Fabulous Flowers and Studio Impressions.  Click here for more.

From Victoria Cameron… I teamed up with a great team of vendors including Studio Impressions, Styled Events and Always Fabulous Flowers to create this floral-inspired bridal luncheon.

We wanted to create something that celebrated the events that lead up to the wedding day and with that in mind chose a stylish lunch setting for a bridal tea or luncheon.

From the beginning it was to designed for the bride who loves all things sweet and pink so we chose a soft champagne underlay for the tablecloths and paired this with a sheer damask overlay. We then flooded the tables with small floral arrangements in a collection of vintage crystal vases and added a beautiful finishing touch with place cards and gold-dusted macarons for every guest.

Enchanted Garden Wedding

This, loves, is my dream wedding.  A fabulous mix of industrial meets romance all wrapped up in the world’s prettiest garden party.  Think gorgeous hues like fuchsia, pink and forest green joining forces with a talented group of vendors that includes White+white Weddings And EventsThe Butterfly LoungeAmini Concepts Event Styling and Silver Edge Photography.  Get your pretty on right here.

From White+white Weddings And Events… Lizzy and Greg’s lavish garden wedding was truly enchanting. The tree and moss lined entrance included soft draping with floral ribbon detailing, golden accents and a gorgeous antique welcome mirror. Hanging blooms and tea lights with potted trees and wrought iron furniture decorated the cocktail area. Archways were covered in ivy and chandeliers of flowers hung from the inner city warehouse ceiling.

Event designers and wedding planners, white+white, had a vision of absolute opulence in mind for the day and their styling direction helped bring Lizzy + Greg’s wedding to life. By orchestrating and teaming up with world class vendors including Amini Concepts, The Butterfly Lounge and Lightspace, they were able to deliver a soiree of extraordinary proportions.

Amini Concepts delivered to Lizzy and Greg’s wedding a sophisticated magic to match the couples own captivating charm. The indoor garden fashioned at Lightspace was luxe glamour and incorporated soft gold, natural timbers, silver mercury and fresh colourful flowers in abundance thanks to The Butterfly Lounge. The look transformed Lightspace from industrial style to a sensory overload of beautiful fresh greenery, flowers and drapery.

To create the idyllic garden party space, The Butterfly lounge lined the green turf entry with potted flowering plants. Each flower was chosen so that it fitted the garden party brief perfectly – colours and shapes and textures were carefully selected to reflect the randomness of a flowering garden. The arrangements were created with a ‘just freshly picked’ look in mind. The Butterfly Lounge’s favourite element was the living asparagus fern, which gave the scenery its wildness feel. Lisianthus, Cluster Roses, Dahlias, Hydrangea, Roses, Tulips, Peppercorn and Umbrella Ferns were used with some tiny Succulents in the bouquets. The chandelier was created to look as if it had hung there so long that the garden had grown in and over it.

Elegant Foodie Wedding in Brisbane

When I married my husband, so many people admitted that they couldn’t wait to see what we had on the menu, considering we’re a pair of foodies, so this Brisbane wedding from Studio Impressions holds a special part of my heart. Not only did everything look mouthwatering delicious, but the wedding itself was beyond beautiful!

From the stunning bride… We met at an Italian cooking class that we both attended with a group of mutual friends. The attraction was instant for Tim, however it took a few more chance meetings before I felt the same way. We learnt to make fresh pasta that night and still love to get into the kitchen and recreate the recipes we learnt.

Tim proposed while we were on holiday in rural Victoria. He had arranged for our room to be filled with candles, fresh flowers and my favourite handmade chocolates while we were out to dinner.

The best words we would use to describe our wedding are ‘elegant feast’. We are both ‘foodies’ and wanted to share our love of great food in an elegant setting with those we cherished.

We were really blown away with the amazing attention to detail that went into producing the amazing 6 course degustation by ARIA catering.

We love that each and every photo captures a special moment. We wanted to avoid staged and posed photos and just let things happen. Marcus Bell did this incredibly well, there were literally hundreds of perfect images and they all told a wonderful story.

Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens Wedding

To me, weddings are about the moments. Those details that make a day so personal – like donning a passed-down set of peals or a father’s handcrafted ice cream stand for the reception. It’s these kind of moments that make this Bundaleer Rainforest Gardens wedding so incredibly special and there’s much more to be seen in the gallery from Andrea Sproxton right here.

From Andrea Sproxton Photography… Madeline & Peter’s wedding was SO pretty! Madeline’s dress was stunning, and with touches like the ice cream stand (hand made by the father of the bride) and the cute table numbers, with little comments about how many days since they met, or how many times the bride changed her mind about the dress – made it very personal. Peter had arranged for a gift to be delivered to Maddy as she was getting ready. It included a very special necklace that belonged to his mother, and generated many tears from everyone present! They were lucky enough to have many friends able to help with various parts of the wedding, including the cake, flowers and hair.
