If you’re the kind of person who likes to spend your days swooning over gorgeous florals (read: me), then today’s breathtaking Noosa wedding is going to be quite the treat. Quite the treat, indeed. Because one look at this stunning display of bloom perfection from Blooms of Noosa and your entire day will be dedicated to perusing the full gallery. A gallery, mind you, that is not only boasting fab florals, but a seriously adorable duo and image after image of pure magic captured by Lindy Photography. Join me there for all of the pretty.
From Lindy Photography… Matt and Clare were just so gorgeous and oh so in love and their bridal party were all so wonderful to work with.
I met a nervous Matt and the boys at Ocean Breeze Resort in Hasting Street while they were getting ready. Love, love, love their suits! I then headed over to Clare and the girls at Little Cove Court. Love, love, love Clare’s stunning gown! Annette Cacciola did a gorgeous job with styling the girls’ hair and makeup. Bec from Bloom of Noosa provided the most gorgeous bouquets ever. Love, love, love.
Matt’s Father and Grandfather had lovingly restored the cutest little vintage car which I think is a Hillman Minx which was used to take Clare to the wedding ceremony held at Hidden Grove on Noosa Beach. Noosa Wedding and Event Hire created a beautiful beach side ceremony set up and lovely Noosa wedding celebrant Jacqui Gray conducted a beautiful ceremony. Wedding reception was held at Berardos.

We are in the thick of winter here in New England, so the thought of a barefoot seaside wedding down under couldn’t sound more divine. It looks equally divine thanks to our friends at Milk & Honey Photography. Their images of this beach chic, family-filled wedding are a vacation in themselves, so you can bet your bottom dollar I’ll be soaking up every last bit right here, in the full gallery.
From the Bride… Our Shelly Beach wedding was an insane, beautiful day full of fun, love and laughter. We only looked at one venue for our reception and fell in love as soon as we walked in. The shabby chic beach house feel of Le Kiosk was perfect as we wanted all our family and friends to be relaxed and just enjoy the celebration. Our reception was a cocktail style event with minimal formalities and lots of good food, wine and dancing. Our ceremony was performed in the middle of Shelly Beach on the most gorgeous day in September with an additional 450 people watching on. My bridesmaids, flower girl and I walked down the aisle bare foot and our guests enjoyed champagne and canapés on the beach afterwards
Dez is a ballroom dancer from back in the day so he led me through the entire thing, which is lucky because even though we had a couple of practices, he ended up changing it on me on the night! We danced to a Lionel Richie song “Penny Lover” which has special meaning to us. Family is a very important part of our lives and we wanted to incorporate them into the day as much as possible. Dez’s sister Kobie was in the bridal party, our niece Sienna was the most beautiful flower girl, my mum read a special poem at the ceremony and Dez’s mum led everyone in the Lord’s Prayer. My step father was the ring bearer and my aunt also made our wedding cake as she did for my brother many years ago which made it very special. Dez had his dad with him in preparation on the day and he walked the bower with him and the groomsman. It was lovely as he considers his dad as his best mate.

When a protege of the Vera Wang ties the knot, you know you are in for some serious fashion. Which is precisely what happened with the Vivian Luk tied the knot to her dashing Groom. On top of all the wedding planning of a typical Bride, Vivian designed sixteen, yes sixteen, dresses for her lineup of (very lucky) lovelies. Each perfectly pin-worthy, and gorgeous enough to make any fashionista drool. Thankfully SugarLove Weddings captured every pretty piece of this stylish soiree, and you can pore over all the lovely right here.

From SugarLove Weddings… Vivian Luk (former Parsons School of Design student & protege of Vera Wang in New York) designed her dream dress for her wedding to Jason Lee in 2012. The wedding ceremony took place in the afternoon at Sydney’s Royal Botanical Gardens. The banquet reception was held at The Mint in the heart of the city.
Not only did Vivian & Jason manage to co-ordinate their wedding in just 11months from their home in Hong Kong she also designed 16 other dresses for the day to ensure her mother, mother in law, 3 flower girls, 2 junior bridesmaids, 4 bridemaids and two sisters-in-law all wore something truly one of a kind for the incredible event. An elite Fashion Atelier based in Hong Kong her eye for detail & colour was the key in all the choices made for their day.
Her wedding theme was simple (the Sky) with peach, aqua and coral accents that would resemble a sunset. The orange, green, blue and corals at the reception location with its historic sandstone architecture were a perfect fit. Susan Avery created a magical scene at The Mint with the colors & florals for Vivian & Jason. The bride & groom danced away the night in the open air banquet reception.
