Laid back elegance is totally this couple’s thing.  Well, that and throwing one seriously pretty + fun party. Because this, my friends, is a day that is the epitome of all things casual elegance with a big ol’ side of awesome thrown in for good measure.  I’m talking perfectly imperfect florals from Peking Spring, a sweet Poachers Pantry setting and some gorgeous images from Tea Lily Photography.  See them here.

From the Bride… It was important for us to start married life the way we wanted to live it; walking in sunshine, surrounded by friends and family and living off local produce. So we took inspiration from our goals in life to shape our summer wedding, choosing a venue with its own vineyard and smokehouse, and rustic charm.

Like our relationship, everything about our wedding fell easily into place… even when things didn’t go to plan, it just felt right! We wanted everything to feel natural and sincere, so it was important to us to have a flexible schedule, and no wedding rehearsal (which may have shown when I accidentally kissed my now hubby ‘hello’ BEFORE saying our vows!).

Our photographer Joel was so unobtrusive during our wedding that we almost forgot he was there. Every moment he was photographing us was the perfect opportunity to slip into each other’s arms and enjoy the romance of it all. This made for a relaxing wedding day as well as some genuine, private moments in the photos Joel captured.
