This fun and creative couple met in Sydney and both are attending school to be designers so you know their wedding is going to be super fun and photo worthy. From the Bride…I wanted to send you a peek at some of our photos of our engagement shoot we had a couple of months ago with our photographer Ben Adams. Ben and I have a wonderful working relationship happening at the moment too, as I’m doing some re-branding for his company. Our engagement session was also a bit of an impromptu business meeting! We spent most of the afternoon chasing the sun around my neighbourhood before it disappeared for the day. Ben has a wonderfully relaxed nature and manages to make you feel completely at ease. We traipsed through grass and weeds and riverbanks while he snapped away.
The photos are taken around the town I grew up in, in Lorn (the Hunter Valley of New South Wales, Australia) which is also around the area we’ll be getting married in come December this year. I moved to Sydney to start university and met Joshua just a few weeks later. In a bizarre coincidence he had lived in my apartment a few years before me! Joshua and I have spent a lot of time back in my hometown, and it’s such a beautiful place to be in- it was perfect for our engagement photos.
My Joshua and I are both studying design (Industrial Design and Visual Communication, respectively) in Sydney and are planning a crafty and fun wedding day. We keep a little blog together at if you’d be interested in having a little look.
