DIY Piggabeen Wedding by Leah Cruikshank Photography

Welcome back to what promises to be another fabulous week here at SMP Australia! We are kicking it off with the cutest, most vintage inspired DIY you ever did see. First off, we’re loving that the bride rocked a fun red and blue frock for her big day and think her choice compliments her groom’s outfit perfectly. And then there’s the sweet pennant flags, the sweet “love and whimsy” quilt and just about everyone that attended the wedding is perfectly decked out for the vintage fete. Leah Cruikshank Photography captured all the homespun details and there’s so much more in the full gallery!

From Leah Cruikshank Photography: Patrick and Belinda got married in a beautiful little country town called Piggabeen in New South Wales, Australia.  I was only there for 1-2 hours but wanted to stay for the whole thing as it was so unique and there were so many photo opportunities.  Apparently they also had a bush dance around a fire afterwards! Patrick is from Quebec and has a fantastic accent and style and Belinda is an artist and she was the one to add all the beautiful little touches to this wedding. All the decorations and details were handcrafted by Belinda and her family and friends.

Just gorgeous! Wondering where they may have gotten their bunting from? :)

  8. hello. this is my wedding and i'm so touched that it has been featured on Style Me Pretty. i'd be more than happy to answer any questions you have. Deer Donna, the dress was made by a design student called Katie Louise Ford. www.katielouiseford.com. i chose the fabrics. kristy, my friend and i made the bunting: it's super easy and we just used scrap material so it was really cheap. xo
