Okay. It’s official. I need an Australian friend. Preferably one who is engaged so I can attend their wedding. Seriously, I can not even deal with the amazingness of all the Aussie weddings here at SMP. They are all insanely gorgeous! So starting today, I’ll gladly accept any invites of the down-under kind. Okay, now that that’s out in the open, let’s move on. I’m not sure where to start with this one because it’s all super-duper adorable! I love the couple. Clearly, they are head over heels in love. Then there’s the dress, the hanging flowers, the balloons, I’m loving every last lovely detail! Captured by none other than SugarLove Weddings, this super happy wedding is sure to have you skipping and whistling your way to the gallery.

From Leigh, at SugarLove Weddings: After being close friends throughout school it took Karen and Paul over 2 years after graduation to declare their love to the world. Paul proposed on Boxing Day on a whard overlooking a bay in Sydney with his late Grandmother’s engagement ring.
The couple were married at The Tea Room, Gunners Barracks in Sydney in December 2010. The wedding had a bright yellow colour theme with the ceremony courtyard decorated with rustic flowers hanging in recycled jars and hand-made vintage fabric bunting floated overhead. A dear friend of the couple sang a love song as the bride walked down the aisle with her father. As a surprise for the guests Karen & Paul arranged for their father to officiate the ceremony. The bride’s bouquet was filled with peonies, billy buttons, daisies, freesias and Queen Anne’s Lace. The evening reception had an intimate dinner party vibe with the tables set up banquet style. The couple used small round blackboards with lemons for place settings and locally sourced hessian as table runners.
Overall it was an evening filled with laugher and heartfelt times with family & friends, great food & wine and lots of great Jazz tunes.

I love this wedding. The lemons are such a great idea and it is just a sweet wedding. Beautiful!
Their socks are too cute! I love that brand called "Happy Socks."

Am I the next best thing...I'm an engaged American living in Aus! We're having our wedding in CA but when we get back to Australia we are having another family reception for everyone who can't make it to the States-don't know how stylin it'll be, but you can come!
What a fun affair! It looks like such a fun filled wedding. The group of long tables together is such a fun approach. I'd like to try that in one of our events!
It's Lovely Wedding..By the way, After your wedding ceremony your disc jockey will work with the bridal party, photographer, caterers, and others to help assure your wedding reception goes according to your specifications that were outlined during the Pre-Wedding Consultation.
Yay Australia!! SugarLove are the best!! The bride is TOO adorable, her dress and sash just make her jump off the screen. And Aimee - you're welcome in Oz anytime, I bet there are millions of us happy to be your Aussie friends! :) xo
Yellow and black are such a stunning color combination. I recently wen to Australia and I can say- they really know how to throw a celebration. I've seen several of Sugar Love's blog posts and they are so unique and detailed- Love them . If you are considering a yellow and black theme- here is a bit more inspiration for you http://www.idovenues.com/atwood-ranch-rustic-elegance/
I just goes to show that as long as you have the colour combo right, anything is possible - lemons on the tables, big yellow balloons - what a fantastic idea. Great styling! Loved this wedding, love love love.
so chic!!! How young and fun this couple is! This looks like a photo shoot not a wedding, awesome!!!
I just featured this as one of my weddings of the week, i love the colour scheme and the balloons used in the photos (plus the pugs!!!)
Definitely my wedding of the week also! Ok, call me bias (I'm also an Aussie), but this fun little number with those fabulous pops of yellow is giving me goosebumps! ;)
Totally rock and roll! The gorgeousness never stops here in Australia ;)
This wedding is lovely! I adore her dress, the lemons, the use of chalkboards. everything = love!
I'm curious about that cake, or is it a cake? Kinda looks like 3 wheels of cheese lol
"Type writer is very old.please use strenth to type keys"....lol :D
Wonderful pictures and nice dinner setup.
Love that custom made sign post, certainly a unique idea that could be used for any theme.
Not sure what the lemons are meant to symbolize, but the yellow items bring a real vibrance.
