As many weddings become decidedly more intimate, with smaller guest lists and family-style settings, this inspiration shoot photographed by Kate Ignatowski couldn't be more relevant to today's bride and groom. It brings the natural, organic vibe to a Southern back porch reception, and includes thoughtful details like the stationery suite designed by Amanda Day Rose. Cozy up in the gallery right this way.

From Kate Ignatowski Photography...This photo shoot was set at Upper Shirley Vineyard, in Charles City, Virginia. The vineyard is set on the peaceful banks of the James River across from a wildlife refuge, making you want to slow down, sip a glass of wine, and enjoy quality time with your friends and family. This feeling was the inspiration behind our shoot.

We chose a natural color palette that complimented the blues and greens of our surroundings. And incorporated loose organic florals with flowing greenery in the ceremony design as well as the reception tablescape. There we sought to inspire an intimate dinner party feel on the extra wide, very southern, back porch. Here we imagine couples will gather, making unforgettable memories with their family and friends. One of my favorite elements was the greenery structure hanging over our reception table. The team worked so hard on this and it came together looking effortless. I also just couldn't get over the Claire Pettibone gown. It was an absolute dream to photograph the intricate details and flowing fabric.
