From the wonderfully elegant Seniman Calligraphy, to the aspiration seaside setting, we've got every bit of this photo shoot waiting to inspire your big day in The Vault!
From Tufts & Toile Vintage Rentals & Design... For me, there is nothing more peaceful than to stare at an endless sea of waves as the sun is about to set. On the day of shooting we were given this ideal lighting near dusk that truly brought out the blend of soft, airy delicate details that defined this ethereal shoot. Our model had beautiful movement throughout, walking barefoot along the beach. She adorned two looks, one boudoir and one bridal, both looks complimented by a breathtaking cathedral veil. An intimate sweetheart table sat right on the edge of the water. The waves tried relentlessly to push the organic runner closer to shore and left remnants of the lake on the legs of the furniture as they rolled backward. The organic floral arrangements brought in the perfect amount of soft colour, using blush, lavender and peach. But it’s the lavender that is ever present throughout, from the calligraphy ink and vintage stamps, to the fondant floral detail on the cake and the amethyst stone on the vintage ring. These stunning images were captured on film by Kurtz Orpia. I’m always thrilled to work with such inspiring photographers and his images get me every time. This was my first creative working with a film photographer, which brought forth so much excitement, and anticipation to see the final images. We are so spoiled with our instant digital playbacks. It gave me a new found appreciation for the art of film, and the uniqueness it brings to a creative shoot.
