From Amy & Jordan Photography...Such a gorgeous navy and blush wedding. The color scheme was perfection, the florals stunning. The location was pristine, and the night ended with an incredible fireworks show. But that isn't what stood out most. No.

It was the small frames that lined the table outside the ballroom doors. Silver ones. Gold ones. White ones, too. Inside? Black and white wedding pictures — a few in color — of generations past. Grandparents. Great-grandparents. Their parents and siblings, too. Holding hands, holding each other and holding all the hope in the world. Of a bright future. Of an exciting tomorrow. Of a life. Together (and forever.) That table, without knowing it, held hundreds and hundreds of years of faithfulness and commitment on its shoulders — and stories, oh-so many stories. Some surely told, some surely not. Ups and downs. Sickness and health. Richer and poorer. Each couple transforming as the photographer clicked the shutter, just moments after they said, “I do.” From two into one. That’s what these two inherited. Something far more valuable than mountains of money, lots of land or precious jewels. But a heritage. A legacy of love. Built on a firm foundation and passed from one couple to the next.
