Classic + Elegant New York City Wedding at The Bowery Hotel
It doesn't get more glamorous than this New York City wedding.
Nothing says downtown glamour quite like New York City's The Bowery Hotel—it's the perfect backdrop for a classic Manhattan wedding, and this gorgeous Bride and Groom took full advantage of that with help from Daughter Of Design. Add in a portrait session in Madison Square Park, and this chic day is truly something special. See all the captured by Karen Hill Photography and NST Pictures in THE VAULT!

From Karen Hill Photography...Classic elegance at this NYC wedding, filled with love and inspiration! I think the cake described it all.

Lucy and Alex both grew up in and around New York. They met seven years ago at Washington University in St. Louis, and have spent the majority of their relationship living happily together in the City That Never Sleeps. They wanted their wedding to feel timeless, romantic, and above all, very New York. They searched long and hard to find the perfect venue and were so happy to secure their date at The Bowery Hotel. The Bowery has such a unique and beautiful aesthetic with its medieval/moroccan feel, Lucy and Alex knew they wouldn’t have to do much besides enhance what was already there. They chose their colors and decor to compliment both the feel of the venue and the early summer season: the greens and blush pinks brought out the beauty of the lush velvet curtains, terracotta floors, and the gorgeous blooms outside.

For the reception they chose long tables spanning the entire length of the hall, floral arrangements of varying heights, and lots and lots of candles. The dancing took place after dinner in an adjoining room with the beautiful green tile fireplace as a backdrop. Guests danced until the very end and the amazing Silver Arrow Band certainly left them wanting more! A final treat before the exodus to the after-party was the delicious Momofuku Milk Bar cake, topped with a very special Bunny and Bear.
