A Southern daytime wedding is my cup of (sweet) tea! Overflowing with love and sweet looks, these two said "I do" at Fearrington House and toasted with Southern comforts from cornbread to grits galore. We have Marcie Meredith to thank for capturing all these tasty treats (this cake!) and for helping to make our Friday morning a whole lot brighter! See it all in the Vault right this way!
From Marcie Meredith Photography... It was a hot summer day, but a kind couple, yummy Southern comfort food, and a relaxed environment made for a wonderful wedding. Emily and Grant decided on a daytime wedding full of classic touches at the Fearrington House. In a serene natural environment, the ceremony was set in the Crab Apple Garden. White flowers with hints of blush and peach adorned the aisle. The soft color theme continued in all of the floral arrangements and bouquets, the bridesmaid dresses and the light, airy outdoor terrace. Lunch was full of assorted meats and cheeses, smoked salmon, shrimp, and crab dip as well as traditional Southern grits, cornbread, mac & cheese, and other delicious treats. Food for the soul! I especially loved seeing Emily and Grant take care of their guests and create an atmosphere in which they could spend time with everyone. It was truly an honor to be a part of!
