While I'm usually a fan of neutrals, I may be changing my tune as I fall more and more in love with the rainbow of colors incorporated into this festive fete. With the chic, crisp backdrop of El Chorro, the bright colors add the perfect amount of pop, from the flowers by Hoot and Holler to my new favorite ceremony arch. Rachel Solomon captured every stunning shade - see every beautiful bit right this way!

From Rachel Solomon... This bright and colorful, Mexican heritage inspired Arizona wedding is a stunner! With amazing florals including tons of air plants, an incredible desert inspired cake, a picturesque ceremony backdrop, adorable hand-lettered coaster escort cards, and a fabulous Hayley Paige gown via Kleinfeld, this wedding is sure to be a unique favorite.

From the Bride... When we boarded the plane to NYC, a part of me prayed and hoped that this trip would be our engagement trip. On that trip I was on edge, and before I knew it Tommy was on one knee at Ladies Pavilion in Central Park. Before I could wipe my tears, 15 of our family and friends were there to celebrate and more importantly to begin the planning process! Could I really plan a day I had been waiting for my whole life? The answer was yes, and a venue and dress were selected in 48 hours.

I have watched Kleinfeld's "Say Yes to the Dress," every Friday since I was in high school, so when I had an appointment the next day, I wished for a long workout to fit in my dream dress! I had been following designer Hayley Paige for months, which was a secret to Tommy! Several dresses later my dream dress was before me and fit perfectly, it was everything I wanted and really drove our planning for our dream wedding, classy, romantic, intimate and a little bit sexy.

After we traveled back to Phoenix, Tommy and I stopped at El Chorro. We gleamed with excitement, from the gorgeous green Casa Paloma Lawn with views of Camelback Mountain, to the intimate all-white reception space. I knew decorating the space wouldn't take much since this venue was classy and beautiful all on it's own.

Because Tommy's family was not going to be able to attend, I wanted to highlight the beautiful Southwest scenery and tie in his Mexican heritage. With a little consideration, I decided that we were going to throw a Classy Fiesta. I let Tommy have full control on the selection of a Mariachi Band. I think it's safe to say he knocked it out of the park! After talking to Hoot and Holler, I knew I wanted bright colored flowers with white vases. I pinned and saved multiple pictures with crepe paper and arches covered in a variety of colorful flowers. I thought all of these arches reminded me of Tuxpan (where Tommy is from), where we visited two summers ago. The lush green landscape mixed with every color of the rainbow was exactly how I remembered that summer.

The Southwest/Mexican theme carried over to our cake topper, and into our picado flags that were in some of the cocktail hour centerpieces. I knew I wanted two cacti on the top of our cake, one to represent myself and another for my handsome groom. Jessi at Ruze Cake House came up with the idea to tie in Arizona State University for the adorable bow tie. The picado flags also reminded me of the art market while visiting the Ruins in Mexico. I searched on Etsy and found AyMujer who made our personalized flags!

After the venue and flowers were selected, all other details started to fall into place, and almost every detail pointed to making it personal. We wanted our guests to get to know us better, to feel the love, and be able to remember their own love stories. These details were found in our ceremony programs from B is Brown sharing information about how our relationship started, to Autumn Matney's custom chalkboard coasters as escort cards for our guests. While our guest list topped over 200, we wanted each one of our guests to feel like they were the only ones in the room surrounded by love and a great time.

The only detail I struggled to capture were the accessories to accompany my dream dress, and I think this was so difficult because I couldn't ask Tommy for his opinion. I looked and looked and looked, in fact it seemed like it was the only detail I wasn't confident about until I found Lindsay Marie Bridal off of Kleinfeld's Instagram. I stumbled upon a hair piece I loved and I instantly emailed the designer and owner, with an accompanying picture of my dress to help inspire. She made earrings and a hairpiece to match the Hayley Paige opal stones perfectly. After the accessories arrived, we were four weeks out and all our details were complete for our classy intimate wedding.

Our wedding would not have been what it was without the amazing support of our families and friends, and the creative coordination of Elizabeth Rush from Imoni Events.

All our details were captured perfectly from our videographer and photographer, Forever Films and Rachel Solomon Photography. Tommy and I felt at ease and wished to do it over and over! Because of their collaboration and flawless execution of our creative details, we were able to enjoy all the sweet and joyous moments of our beautiful day!
