Gilded to absolute perfection and sparkling in the gorgeous Arizona light, this stunner of a soiree captured by Pinkerton Photography and coordinated by A Day To Cherish will leave you inspired to say the very least. From the stunning line up of bridesmaids gowns to the perfect mixture of blush, nude and metallics - this wedding has my heart, and you can see why here.
From The Bride... I spent much of my childhood visiting family members in Arizona, and always held fond memories of the beauty the desert spring holds. When it came time to plan our wedding, Paradise Valley came up as the perfect location -- allowing us to make a weekend of our wedding to spend more time with our closest friends and family. When Matthew and I first set foot in Casa Paloma at El Chorro, we new our search was done. The venue is so classic Arizona, and the view of Camelback Mountain in the background of the lawn was picturesque. We decided to allow the desert to provide much of the color, and stuck with a very neutral color palate - blush, nude, metallics, and a pop of navy so that Matthew could wear his traditional Air Force Mess Dress. Our wonderful vendors are really the ones who deserve the praise for pulling off my vision, as I was forced to plan from 850 miles away in Oklahoma. Late night phone calls, early morning e-mails -- they definitely took my scattered ideas and formed a beautiful evening that Matthew and I will cherish for the rest of our lives.
