When it comes to farm weddings you should really have two things: animals and wildflowers. This couple had both which means their wedding was not only fun, but beautiful. Captured by Andy Barnhart Photography, playful touches make this farm wedding a cannot miss. You can see every detail (and the animals) here!

From The Bride...When Nick and I began planning our wedding, we started by visiting several venues. Just when it looked like we weren’t going to find anything, a friend mentioned the Lyons Farmette. We scheduled a visit, and it was absolutely perfect! Most of our guests were coming from out of state, and we wanted to create a fun, relaxed experience for them. The Farmette is beautiful with its flower gardens and flowing stream. The animals are adorable and were enjoyed by kids and adults alike. By adding lawn games and a food truck we were able to create a festive atmosphere with plenty of activities for our guests.

There were many elements that made our wedding day special. Reading our vows that we wrote for each other was definitely the highlight for us! With the help of friends and family, we added may DIY touches which really helped with the budget and created that vintage farm look. We were also extremely lucky to find such wonderful vendors. Everyone did an amazing job. Our gift to our guests was local organic honey from Lyons that Jax DeCoster from the Farmette infused with lavender. It was such a special day for us and we are glad we could share it with our family and friends.
