Sometimes Mondays call for a heaping helping of pretty to really kick of the week, and today we are getting our fill of gorgeous thanks to this earthy inspiration shoot from Andrea Pesce Photography. Styled to perfection by Wright Events Services with stunning florals from Black Creek Flowers & Sweets and rentals from Paisley & Jade, this gallery is overflowing with the most fabulous textures and design moments, making the start to this week extra lovely.
From Andrea Pesce Photography...Belle Aisle in Richmond, VA set the scene for this Earth, Wind, Fire, Water inspired shoot. Styled by Natalie Wright…elements of leather, fire, stone, feathers, and greenery complimented the masculine feel of this east coast wedding. We were determined to break away from the typical Virginia “rustic barn” or “elegant vineyard” wedding, and do something with a masculine undertone that provided a different perspective of Virginia. We took a trendy local hang out on the James River, looked at it in a different way, and drew from its atmosphere for our inspiration. We love how it is exposed to all earth elements with its flowing river water, worn protruding rocks, breezy shore, and fiery toned landscape. We emphasized the incorporation of local craftsman such as Erica from Black Creek Flowers, Amy from Sincerely Amy Designs, and Mary Ann from MA’s Mad House of Adornment. Even our clothiers, Beecroft & Bull, and Tiffany’s Bridal are Commonwealth small businesses. We believe in utilizing the talent around us and really wanted to express that in this shoot. From Erica Hutchison, Black Creek Flowers & Sweets...I was extremely excited when Natalie and Andrea approached me with their idea. They gave me the details and other design elements that I would be working with, and turned me loose! Being given creative freedom is the best gift a florist can get! Working together with fellow artists/designers is always inspiring, but I definitely felt inspired after this shoot! From Natalie Wright, Wright Event Services...When we collaborated with vendors we encouraged them to use our inspiration words and interpret them in their own way to display their individual creativity and represent their business in a personal way.
