From Ashley Bartoletti Photography ...Hannah and Sohil had a really special wedding that blended cultural elements with personal, unique traditions. The whole event was held at the John James Audobon Center on a perfect day in August. The couple planned two separate ceremonies with different attire for each. The first was a rich and colorful Hindu ceremony held under a pavilion on property, honoring that traditions of Sohil's family. After an wardrobe change into a classic lace gown and gray suit, a second civil ceremony was held under a beautiful old tree. Personal touches included sharing their own vows and planting a tree. It was important to Hannah, an environmental lawyer, that their wedding be eco-friendly. All the flowers were from a local, sustainable farm. The flowers for the ceremony were reused for the reception and we're put together by the bridal party. Cocktail hour was held in a barn on property and then guests returned to the open air pavilion to enjoy dinner dance the night away.
