We can always count on good ol' Vermont for a beautiful forest fete. Case in point? This West Mountain Inn celebration with Red Mountain as the backdrop and a few curious alpacas (uninvited, but welcomed!) as guests to the ceremony. And surrounding all that natural beauty? So much love. Have a look right here for all of the lovely imagery captured by Carrie Ann Photography.

From West Mountain InnBrianne and James were married on the first perfect day of Spring, the first weekend of May. James knew from the time they were engaged that he wanted to have the wedding at the West Mountain Inn, the place where his parents were married over 30 years before, and the place where he had been visiting since he was a baby. He just had to convince Brianne! Once they visited, she knew that the Inn would be the perfect place for the elegant yet rustic wedding she had been imagining.

The day shone bright and clear. The ceremony took place in front of the labyrinth garden with Red Mountain as a backdrop and the friendly Alpaca's looking on. Cocktail hour was outdoors as well with dinner and dancing following in the Barn. Brianne and James' pink and brown palette looked beautiful in the 100 year old barn, with its rustic interior and fairy lights.
