From Urban Lace Events... Dana and Brett live in New York City but decided to have their wedding at the Viceroy Miami, so guests could enjoy a destination wedding without traveling long distances. When I first started working with Dana she told me she envisioned a modern wedding with a little glitz and glam that reflected the vibrancy of Miami and their own personal style. One of the first things Dana revealed was her intense aversion towards linens, in particular tablecloths. So instead, we decided to go with acrylic top tables for the reception that did not require tablecloths. However, to keep the room interesting and avoid it from looking flat, we used a mixture of acrylic top tables with white pop chairs and square tables with sequin linens and ghost chairs. Dana initially did not like the linens, but after she got a peek at the gorgeous white sequin tablecloths and sequin chevron runners from La Tavola her mind had been changed.

Dana and Brett fell in love with a local NYC chocolatier Liddabit Sweets a few weeks before the wedding and wanted their guests to experience their favorite treat, so we had custom labels designed that we adhered to the chocolate boxes and used them as escort cards.

The menus, table numbers and escort stickers were all designed with a pink flamingo, a subtle nod to the Florida destination.
