This, folks, is the cream of the rustic crop. Every detail from the bride's feathered hair piece from PowderBlueBijoux, florals from Maureen At Stop And Shop, and mercury glass abound, all against the backdrop of the Smith Barn makes for the perfect ratio of glamour to bucolic abandon. Better yet, we get to relive all the fun thanks to these lovely candids from Servidone Studios. See it all here.
From the Bride: Although we wouldn't consider ourselves "partyers," Billy and I like to have fun with the people we love the most. Therefore, when planning our wedding, we wanted to throw one big party full of love. Smith Barn at Brooksby Farm had the perfect laid back atmosphere with the most beautiful back drop. While maintaining a casual and rustic vibe, we wanted to keep it chic with neutral colors and touches of gold and glitter (because we, too, believe that gold makes everything better). I started gathering mercury glass votives, vases and other pieces that would compliment the barn's already existing beams wrapped in little white lights. A couple of gold spray paint cans were put to use on mason jars and other decor including a homemade monogram. Everything came together when our band, The Wild Ones, knew exactly what we wanted. Having a mainly "younger" crowd, the band played top 40 hits and kept the party going all night. The party continues as we relive the most perfect day through our photographer, Servidone Studios. Andrea captured the day exactly how we wanted to remember it: relaxed, fun, candid, happy, beautiful.
