This gorgeous Lyman Estate Wedding is pretty hard to beat until you hear this couple's " How we met" story. The Bride turned her lucky winnings ( a VW Beetle) into a ticket to the US where she met the love of her life. And this totally elegant New England wedding is the result. Vivian & Andy aren't just incredible adorable, they're also one of the sweetest couples we've ever had the fortune to shoot. And, as a bonus, they have a fantastic "how we met" story:

While living in Japan, Vivian won a VW beetle in a contest, which she then sold for a ticket to America where she met Andy! How's that for good fortune?!

Vivian's resourcefulness is matched only by her style, both of which serve her well during her day job as a buyer for Gucci. She also DIY'd much of the wedding herself, from folding the paper cranes, to drawing the welcome sign, to the hearts and cards for the guest book. One thing she couldn't DIY - with good reason - was her stunning pearl necklace, which was were Mikimoto pearls brought directly from Japan by her mom!

Their exquisitely elegant wedding at the Lyman Estate was the perfect day for this stylish couple. The purple hues of the bridesmaids dresses and reception details popped against the orange & yellow autumn leaves. Vivian's classic Vera Wang gown was accessorized with a purple sash for the reception.
