From the Couple... When we started our search on venues, we just knew that we wanted to get married in our beautiful city of Vancouver, BC. We fell in love with the Rosewood Hotel Georgia located in the heart of downtown Vancouver. It was the perfect place where we wanted our love to be witnessed with our friends and family. The Rosewood Hotel, richly rooted in Vancouver's history was our stage for our commitment to be shared. The location was as perfect as we had always dreamed of and we made sure we captured some of Vancouver's gems in our photos. We were blessed on this day with amazing weather, misty and crisp, that allowed us to do photos on the steps of Vancouver Art Gallery and Vancouver's Light House in Stanley Park. By our side, with our passionate and highly talented photographer Kristy from Blush Wedding Photography – she captured every moment with emotion.

Our wedding was beautiful! I didn’t want the day to end. The planning was hard work, but it was all worth it. Hiring wedding coordinators was the best decision we made. Cheryl and Tanya from Milestone Events kept us checked in weekly before the big day and helped made our day run smoothly. One of my most favorite details of the wedding day was having a customized photo charm that I had made from Etsy of my late grandfather on my bouquet. Another one of my most favorite moments with Gary was when we danced to the last song of the night to our first dance song to “Best of Me” by Michael Buble. It was a perfect way to end the night and a memory that we’ll cherish forever. Lastly, another of my most favorite moments of the wedding was when Gary danced with his beautiful 105-year-old grandma. Priceless!

From the Groom... I knew my wedding day would hold the deepest love of my heart. It would be the day that my life was truly complete. From every step we have taken together from our first date, I knew our wedding day would be a day I would never ever forget. We decided together that we wanted to do a 'First Look' before the ceremony. This was my top five moments of my day. We had our “First Look” in the Promenade of the Rosewood Hotel Georgia. Before seeing Jenny, I had so many emotions of excitement, joy, and feeling so deeply in love. I just knew in my heart that this moment of our 'First Look' would be dedicated just for us and a memory that will forever live in my heart. In that very special moment when I looked at Jenny for the first time in her beautiful dress, she appeared prettier than rose of life with the help of her make-up and hair artist by Jayna Marie and in hand her gorgeous bouquet by Stephanie from Balconi Floral Design. I turned and simply cried and thought how beautiful she was. She was perfect. The love of my life standing before me and with both of our hearts melting and simple tears of pure happiness appeared as we caught our eyes together. A kiss, a smile and a little dance - we were embracing the moment and this was our special day.
