I just adore this wedding. Yes, it's stylish as all get out and filled with details so darling you could squeal, but it's the smiles in every pictured perfectly captured by Olive Studio that really get me. You just know that this wedding was filled to the brim with the greatest detail of all, love, and that just makes my day. See even more here.
From Olive Studio...Ivy and Kevin tied the knot on Ivy's family gravel and mulch farm that she grew up on in Uxbridge. Fields and fields of rolling green set the tone for this tented wedding. The couple had lots of support from friends and family who helped them create the vintage/chic details of the day. Barrels were found on kijiji and used as bar table legs. Friends made the wooden tops and by day it was transformed into a bar and by night, it was a candy bar. Jars and jars of red candies were offered up alongside the couples delicious carrot, pineapple cake. The cake toppers were purchased and altered by the bride herself. Farm-inspired bride and groom owls. Her save the date invites were also handmade. The mc's of the night, also a sister and brother, made a dart game for the guests, personalized with questions about the couple. The groom custom-made a beautiful tool chest that clasps together in 5 parts for each of his groomsmen. Each is separated into its own tool chest but together, all 5 clasp together to make one. Inside each part, is a custom name-engraved axe. This chest was truly made from the heart. Flowers were made by a woman named Heather Benjamin. Ivy and Kevin created a wedding that encapsulates their persona's. It was uniquely their own and set the laid back atmosphere for the day. The wedding was intimate and personal, classy yet not stuffy.
