This wedding is the definition of awesome; the sort of wedding where every moment is sooo beyond beautiful and sooo beyond amazing, I'm not even sure what to say.  And since I am sort of known as a chatty lady, it's safe to say it's a speech-defying affair in every which way.  From the fab stylings of Mandy Scott Events to the stunning Holman Ranch backdrop to the vibrant pops of gold and red, this is truly, truly a work of art.  See what I mean in the full gallery captured by Loic Nicolas Photography.

From the Bride... Intent on having an outdoor ceremony and reception which would represent my North Indian heritage and my groom's Iranian background for 250 of our closest family and friends was no small task. Ultimately we decided to split our ceremonies so we could share the richness of our cultures to their full extent.

Our desire was to highlight our cultures through a natural elegance and simplicity. To achieve this, my amazing planner, Mandy, and I focused on thoughtful uses of color in our decor. We sought to tie in personal details to give our ceremony a unique feel.

We had several days of pre-wedding events in the Indian tradition, on the night of the Sangeet where family performs skits, dances, and songs to set the mood for the upcoming nuptials, we decided to have the Persian ceremony, Sofreh Aghd. My groom's aunt and mother worked tirelessly to arrange the traditional Iranian wedding spread, where each element symbolizes tenets of a healthy and strong relationship. Following the Persian ceremony, there were several performances by our family and friends, including a dance performed by my groom and me as a special surprise for our parents.

For the reception and Indian ceremony, our planner, Mandy Scott, found the perfect location to fulfill my dreams of an outdoor wedding at Holman Ranch. We could not have been more lucky to be blessed with perfect weather. Though there is little one has to do at a beautiful venue like Holman Ranch, Mandy took my wish to have flowers everywhere, and injected color throughout the property to achieve our dream wedding.

We carefully crafted the ceremony to be unique to us and our family and friends in attendance. The ceremony began with the traditional Hindu ceremony, followed by personal vows written by my groom and I, and ended with a communal vow from our guests pledging their support to my groom and I throughout our married life. Standing in front of our most favorite people in the world and pledging our commitment to each other in one of the most beautiful places was the highlight of our special day.
