From Aileen Tran Event Stylist... Here is our labor of love: a luxe garden/Garden of Eden-inspired photo shoot. We shot this at The Santaluz Club with a building covered in creeping fig as the backdrop. Santaluz is a wonderful Spanish/Tuscan inspired country club. We wanted to create a whimsical canopy over a long table, to look like wisteria. With a crisp white, green, and gold color palette, we tried to create a luxurious tablescape that combined looks both old and new, and ultimately timeless. Lush garden florals and sleek orchids were paired with gold vessels (both vintage and modern) for an eclectic mix. For our florals, we used crisp white phalaenopsis orchids, white hydrangea, garden roses, cattleya orchids, white peonies, white clematis, as well as dendrobium orchids and stock on the top canopy. Gilded birds-of-paradise and anthurium gave a whimsical/edgy/unexpected touch. We added vintage cut crystal glasses to echo the crystal chandeliers hovering above. Each chair cover was custom made and adorned with lush hydrangea, roses, orchids, and clematis.
