You know what makes me happy?  This wedding.  This drop-dead gorgeous love fest that ranks amongst the prettiest days I have ever seen.  Think rich purple and red hues, an adorable duo (LOVE their First Look) and one seriously stunning setting (hello Breaux Vineyards).  Add in some lush florals from Petals & Hedges and a whole lot of pretty captured by One Summer Day and this, my friends, is the perfect way to start the weekend.  See it all here.

From One Summer Day... Natalie and Alex were wed in a beautiful, purple-infused celebration, in Virginia's beautiful wine country. The college sweethearts were wed in a simple ceremony at Breaux Vineyards, nestled in the gorgeous Shenandoah foothills, and as if the beautiful natural surroundings weren't swoon-worthy enough, their day was filled with gorgeous organic-chic and DIY details, all in feminine shades of purple, lavender and lilac. One of our personal favorites was the bride's incredibly detailed Simone Carvalli lace gown.

Wine-bottle centerpieces, lush floral arrangements, and tons of mercury glass decorated the reception area. Outside, guests enjoyed the DIY photobooth put together by the groom himself. The most popular feature, though, was the gorgeous lavender station that encouraged guests to fill up their paper cones with lavender, to toss at the newlyweds during their recessional. They even had wine bottle corks for their guests to sign, instead of a traditional guest book. Back inside, more DIY details like the adorable jelly jar place cards added a fun twist to the otherwise classic, chandeliers and chiavari chairs setting. Their cake was a classic three-tiered beauty, stacked with gorgeous purple flowers, and other thoughtful little details like the purple rock-candy sticks at the dessert station kept guests coming back for more. All in all, a beautiful evening to remember!
