Most people would tell you that rain and slush is a wedding day no-no. But those people probably haven’t seen a bad-weather-turned-crazy-romantic day like this. It’s what happens when a glowing mama-to-be bride and her love tie the knot amongst the Australian countryside, with some showers and rubber rain boots thrown into the mix. Bentinmarcs Photography filled a gallery with the day’s stunning captures and if you ask me, it’s the best place to be.
Danielle & Troy’s beautiful winter wedding was held at the amazing Longview Vineyard in the Adelaide Hills South Australia. Cold winds and rain was all part of the attraction. Danielle was also 22 weeks pregnant and looked just beautiful in her Caleche wedding gown. Some guests braved the weather and headed outside to take in the beautiful scenery while others took comfort in front of the open fires inside. Initially the wedding ceremony was to be held outside under the century old gums but due to the weather the covered deck seemed like the best spot. After a brief photo session we headed in for lunch which was served with a selection of great wines from the vineyard. The whole day was a huge success thanks to Jess and the team at Longview Vineyard. Even the pouring rain while Danielle and Troy were leaving didn’t dampen the day.
