I am basically obsessed with everything Sofia of Branco Prata touches, so when I saw this pretty -as-can-be Portugal shoot I stopped everything I was doing to soak it all in. Because between the flowers, the scenery, the gorgeous tablescape and the perfect stationery - I can barely contain my happiness. Add the fact that Anneli Marinovich's images are so beautiful I could cry, and ladies and gents, we have a winner on our hands. See it all here.
From Anneli... Working with amazing Portuguese stylist Sofia from Branco Prata, we came up with the concept of a rustic bridal shoot set at one of the most beautiful wedding venues in Mafra, Portugal - Quinta de Sant'Ana. Making the most of the golden afternoon sunlight and yellow walls at the venue, the shoot was warm and definitely inspired by Portugal - showcasing rustic candle holders & Portuguese tiles on the sweetheart table, as well as stationery designed by Sofia from Branco Prata, drawing inspiration from Portuguese tile patterns. The bride's bouquet was also quite rustic and incorporated lots of orange and yellow to tie in with the overall look & feel of the shoot. With two looks and a beautiful wedding gown from Sabina Motasem, our bride wore a soft & colourful flower crown at first, followed by a more elegant hairstyle & a gorgeous beaded belt to add some sparkle to the gown. Our groom looked dashing in his dark navy suit & bow tie, with a button hole pulling through the golden tones from the shoot. The overall feel of the shoot will hopefully inspire brides & grooms to have their destination wedding at a gorgeous outdoor wedding venue like this one, where the best of Portugal - beautiful vineyards and a rustic estate overlook the village of Gradil creating the perfect setting for a relaxed, outdoor wedding inspired by the rustic beauty of Portugal.
