CasualWeddings in Historical Venues
There are so many, many reasons I adore this darling Decatur wedding, if I sat down and listed them all, I'd fill up an entire notebook worth of prettiness.  Not that I wouldn't love spending my day gushing over the sweet details bursting from every image captured by Anne Almasy... I plan on doing that anyway. Because this is the kind of wedding that completely captured every ounce of your attention with lush, DIY florals, an elegant BCBGMAXAZRIA gown and a Solarium reception that will take your breath away. See it all in the full gallery.

From Anne Almasy... Lindsey, a user experience researcher, and Darin, a pilot, both love good company, good drinks, coffee in the park, crossword puzzles, leisurely mornings, brunch, dark bars, live music, yoga, kickboxing, travel, seeing the world, and Ernest Hemingway. They agree that the glass is half full. And, in their words, they were "really, really, really excited to be married!"

Lindsey and Darin wanted their wedding to be small enough to be intimate, but large enough to include everyone who should be there. They wanted a familial atmosphere, very cozy and conversational. "Sure," they said, "it's about us, our marriage and our commitment to one another, but it's also about celebrating the amazing (and they are truly amazing) people in our lives, now connected through us."
