When I think about the loveliest ways to say “I do,” beneath the branches of a centuries-old oak tree is the kind of setting that makes me stop and swoon. It’s the idea of quiet romance and perfect symbolism that’ll turn any hopeless romantic into a pile of mush right on the spot. And from the soft golden palette to the oak tree silhouette that carried throughout the day’s design, this Minnesota couple planned the perfect celebration with Premier Planning Services by their side. We’re lucky enough to see it all through the lens of Laura Ivanova, and there’s much, much more waiting right here.
From Laura Ivanova…Stella and Tim hosted such a unique celebration, centered around the ceremony that united them and husband and wife. They chose to be married under a huge, centuries-old oak tree that held great symbolism for the couple. They incorporated the oak silhouette in their wedding day stationery. The soft golden colors and beautiful details were lovely (I could not stop gushing about them all day), but the things that resonate most to me, were the moments during the ceremony when Tim wiped the tears from Stella’s face. It was the moments when they couldn’t stop smiling at each other. It was really beautiful to witness. The ceremony was made even more personal, due to the fact that it was performed by Tim’s parents, who are pastors. After the morning ceremony, guests enjoyed a delicious lunch, toasts, and dancing to a 17 piece swing band!
