This is, kind of, the most amazing thing ever. The blooms from Isari Flower Studio and an overall design from CBS Lifestylist have actually left me speechless. They're gorgeous enough to leave a somewhat loquacious blogger tongue-tied. And that, my friends, means something. The amazing images are from Melissa Biador Photography, and they are all right here for your viewing pleasure.
From the Planner ... There's something so charming about a bride who chooses to invite only 20 guests to her wedding, and then treats them to the very, very best! The bride called our offices at CBSLifestylist and I answered. I quickly understood her. She was not making a fuss or trying to make a statement, she was simply getting married to her best friend and wanted her parents, siblings and one close friend and her spouse to attend. I was intrigued and on board right away. Naturally, if you want the very best, you choose the Lodge at Torrey Pines in La Jolla. She and the family would enjoy the resort as Tam Ashworth of Isari Flower Studio created a delicate, well-appointed ceremony and table-scheme. Our bride appreciated flowers and articles to be beautiful and undone, refined and mixed. She described essentially an elegant farmhouse aesthetic so we fine-tuned the particulars: we had wood joined with crystal, and silver paired with linen. The combination was gorgeous! Once the look was fully determined, I established the rest of the details. Rental chairs and linens were brought in by American Party Rentals. We hired DJ Rey Pena to incorporate soft, sultry music through the ceremony and dinner, then dance the night away for post dinner celebration, and the guests enjoyed beautifully designed cupcakes from Michelle Coulon Dessertier. The 20 guests including our lovely couple experienced a magical evening, loving, talking, and celebrating just as the bride had envisioned. The weather was stunning and the weekend was perfect! Farmhouse elegance, check. Beautiful happy couple, check.
