We’re currently experiencing that awkward transition phase between winter and spring. Down jackets are too warm, ballet flats too cold… Striking that perfect balance is difficult and oftentimes frustrating; which is why I’m particularly enamoured with this backyard event from Jesi Haack Design. Enjoying a casual outdoor feast of grilled cheese and s’mores, wrapped up in afghans on a crisp spring evening proves to be the perfect way to tackle the weather at hand. Don’t miss the rest of the gallery!
From Jesi… Girls night out. Or in? We sparked up a cozy bonfire, made some yummy soups, a “make your own” grilled cheese bar, and gave each guest a bag of smore’s goodies to warm up, and chill out. After eating all of our yummy dinner at our beautiful tables, we moved our party over to the bonfire to load up on smore’s, drink our wine, and chat the night away. We handed out lots of blankets, cozy ponchos, and added pillows to our lounge furniture to make sure everyone was keeping warm in the early spring air!
