There are so many couples who appear on the screens of SMP who I wish I could call up and become their new bestie. This wedding was hosted (beautifully, I might add) by one of those couples. They just seem like loads of fun, and sweet as can be to boot – and their wedding was a perfect reflection of just that. It’s personality packed and pretty as can be, and thanks to Flory Photo we have a full gallery of fabulous to bestie up with. See it all here.
From the Bride… One of our guests came up to Ben and I after the wedding and said, “I have never been to a wedding where it was all about the guests.” That was the approach my husband and I tried to take. We wanted a space that felt like our guests were stepping into our home for dinner. A non-traditional celebration where guests could kick off their shoes and have a little fun. By the end of the evening we wanted guests to walk away and say, “That was a good party!”
The evening began with guests arriving in old school buses stocked with sombreros and loud music. Guests nibbled on popcorn that was labeled “Enjoy the Show” before the ceremony. As they pronounced “you are now husband and wife,” a New Orleans style band swarmed our guests increasing the level of excitement, while we walked back down the aisle.
