From Libby of Easton Events… Caroline and Winston are truly kindred spirits with an appreciation for old-world charm. Their wedding vision was a perfect fit for Keswick Hall with its early 20th century architecture and allure. Together they wanted a wedding that felt “warm, personal, romantic, with a nod toward tradition.” The ceremony was set in an idyllic stone church dating back to the mid 18th century, set in the idyllic Keswick, VA countryside. Caroline chose the stunning “Archive” gown with the sheer high neckline by Lela Rose and classic Oscar de la Renta sling backs. She was a stunning vision of poise and grace.
She gifted her bridesmaids personally engraved antique compasses–a key feature of her printed. The compass motif was tied in through the save the date, the invitation, ring bearer pillow, welcome notes & truffles, and the menus. The colors captured their desire for warm elegance with a palette of gold, apricot, pale pink, and a cool sage green. Each menu was hand tied with gauzy gold ribbon and a vintage key for each guest to take with them at the end of the evening. The escort cards were displayed on heirloom vintage trays and the guests typed their notes on a vintage typewriter with personalized Caroline & Winston letterhead–so fun and chic!
The guests entered into candlelit room full of silver candelabras and gorgeous soft blooms. The table linens were a pale gold raw silk, mahogany wood chairs, and perfectly set with a peach sevres plates. To create an intimate feeling in the room – we created a beautiful fabric candle wall that opened to reveal the dancefloor when it was time for the party to get going! They provided the guests with a small-batch Skotch and Bourbon bar and hand rolled cigars for the gentleman. The wedding captured the hearts of their guests and everyone in the room could feel the love they shared – Truly a wedding of timeline elegance!
